This major event, sponsored by the CEA, brings together the key players in embedded software and hardware technologies to discuss the challenges of embedded artificial intelligence.

The programme for the 17th edition of this event will cover all aspects of AI: frugal and embedded, sovereign and trusted, generative and hybrid, as well as its challenges, opportunities and controversies.
The CEA-List will be highlighting its expertise through two key presentations:

  • NeuroCorgi, an electronic circuit (ASIC) dedicated to embedded AI that reduces power consumption by a factor of 1,000: Embedding AI processing in intelligent systems and devices is a fundamental trend and marks a major digital transformation. Processing data as close as possible to its source offers a number of advantages: faster processing, reduced data transmission, and improved data confidentiality and security. However, embedding AI processing requires compliance with a form factor (size, weight, power consumption) that is difficult to achieve given the expected performance.
To meet this challenge, CEA-List has developed a solution called NeuroCorgi, inspired by the human visual cortex.
  • DeepGreen – Eclipse Aidge: the independent and sovereign software platform dedicated to embedded AI, enabling the design of optimised deep neural networks. Aidge offers advanced tools for reducing the computational complexity and memory consumption of AI models, while selecting the best hardware target and generating implementations tailored to embedded environments.

The CEA-List will also be taking part in the round table entitled ‘Embedded AI: a new deal for sovereign, sustainable and trusted AI? What technologies are available in France and Europe to meet this challenge?’ at 10.20am with Thales, Capgemini Engineering, TrustInSoft and Kalray.

On the programme:

Pitching of projects nominated for the 17th Assises de l’Embarqué awards, with a view to winning the People’s Choice Award.
The sponsors (CEA, MathWorks, Safran, Thales, Vector and Viveris) will present the Embedded Trophies to the winners.
